𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝗢𝗬𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗢’𝗦 𝟳𝟬𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬

In a heartwarming gesture to commemorate the 70th birthday of Bishop David Oyedepo, the Founder of the Living Faith Bible Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), the State Pastor, David Popoola, led a delegation of church members on a humanitarian visit to Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) earlier on Monday 23rd, September 2024.

During the visit, the church donated essential medical equipment including 5L Oxygen Concentrators, Omron M7 Digital Sphygmomanometers, Wheelchairs, Manual Suction Machines, Omron Nebulizers, and 2 million Naira cheque for settlement of bills of indigent patients.

The Chief Medical Director of RSUTH, Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for their generous donations, commending the church’s commitment to touching lives globally. Prof. Alikor emphasized that this initiative compliments the ongoing efforts of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers State in enhancing healthcare service delivery for the well-being of Rivers People, and assured them that the support would be communicated to the Governor through the Hon. Commissioner of Health, Dr. Adaeze Ureh.

On behalf of RSUTH, Prof. Alikor extended heartfelt thanks to Bishop Oyedepo and the Winners Chapel Rivers family for their significant contribution, assuring that the resources would be utilized effectively to benefit those in need.

The State Pastor expressed appreciation for the warm reception from the hospital’s management and staff, promising to convey the well-wishes to Bishop Oyedepo. He concluded the visit with prayers for the hospital’s management, staff, and patients, reaffirming the church’s commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives in the region.

This donation marks a significant milestone in the church’s ongoing efforts to provide assistance and promote wellness for Rivers People.
